Larry Hersch is a native of Philadelphia, Pa., and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1975 after graduating from Stetson University College of Law. He has always been in the private practice sector.
Larry spent a good deal of his early practice in Criminal Defense, having handled numerous Murder I trials, as well as all other criminal charges.
Larry is a Title Agent and can handle all of your closing needs. He has been doing so since 1977. He is also one of the first Mediators certified by the Florida Supreme Court and remains a Certified Family Law and Circuit Court Mediator as well as Mortgage foreclosure mediator, having been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida in 1989, and has done countless mediations and spoken at many CME courses.
Larry has been an Attorney for Centerstate Banks NA for over 28 years, handling all aspects of banking litigation.
Alicia Polk graduated from Stetson University College of Law. She began prosecuting with the State Attorney’s office in Dade City, Pasco County, FL. She went into private practice shortly thereafter, concentrating on criminal defense, family law & civil litigation.
Wanting to broaden her practice, she joined The Law Offices of Larry S. Hersch in January 2008 and has been a welcomed asset. Her insight and knowledge are a welcomed addition. The firm has now been renamed to be Hersch & Polk, Attorneys at Law.
The law office Hersch & Polk, Attorneys at Law is pleased to announce the hiring of its newest attorney, Matthew E. Maggard. Matt is a native of Dade City, graduated from Pasco High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. He graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in December of 2012 and immediately sat for the first Bar exam in February of 2013, which he passed with high marks.
